Daimler Protics has three divisions covering all aspects of product lifecycle management, namely PDM (Product Data Management), SDM (Sales Systems & Data Management) and VE & C (Virtual Engineering & Consulting).
PDM division | Product Data Management
Solutions for integrated and consistent product data and information processes in Development and Production.
The staff who work in the PDM division are deployed across the Daimler AG group in MBC, Daimler Trucks, Buses and AMG. The main focus of their project work and job remit lies in the areas of development, production, production planning and IT.

The SDM teams primarily serve internal customers of the Daimler Group referred on by Sales and After Sales, concentrating mainly on the consultancy aspect of the development, introduction and operation of sales and after-sales systems.

The teams from the VE & C division assist their customers with the evaluation and introduction of innovations in the field of visualisation, advise them with the conceptual design and development of methods and tools for the visualisation and handling of three-dimensional information, and devise visualisation and simulation solutions which are customised to the specific requirements.
